Over Radix's short history we have had some of the most amazing speakers that the sport has to offer. We've had everyone from Olympians to the Greatest High School Coach of all time come and talk to our campers. Everyone has their own story and year after year we find people that help educate, inspire, and lead the next generation of great runners!

Travis Mahoney

Travis Mahoney is a professional distance runner and respected performance coach from New Jersey. A decorated collegiate athlete at Temple University, he earned multiple NCAA All-America honors and set school records across events ranging from the steeplechase to the 5000 m, later competing at the U.S. Olympic Trials and international championships. After more than a decade as a professional, Travis has shifted much of his focus to coaching, helping runners of all levels—from youth and high school athletes to marathoners and elite competitors—reach their goals through personalized training and mindset support. His personal bests include 3:57 for the mile, 7:41 for the 3000 m, 8:19 in the steeplechase, and 13:19 for the 5000 m. Travis is a multiple-time speaker at Radix Running Camp!

Emily Richards

Emily Richards is a professional middle-distance runner with Atalanta NYC and one of the most successful NCAA Division III athletes in recent history. A former standout at Ohio Northern University, Richards developed into a national-level competitor through consistent growth and resilience. Now racing on the professional circuit, she ran a 1:59.87 personal best in the 800 m at the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships, becoming the first former Division III woman to break two minutes, and continues to compete at a high level across the 800 m and 1500 m against the best in the U.S.

Liam Murphy

Liam Murphy is a professional middle-distance runner with deep New Jersey roots. A four-time NJ Meet of Champions winner at Allentown High School, he went on to become a standout at Villanova University, where he emerged as one of the nation’s top 1500 m runners, setting school records and excelling on the NCAA stage. Now competing professionally with Nike, Liam continues to train and race at the highest level. His personal bests include 3:33.02 in the 1500 m, 7:35 for 3000 m, and 13:10 for 5000 m.

Tammie Bennett

Tammie Bennett is a sports performance and mindset coach and the founder of Show Up Society, where she helps athletes develop confidence, consistency, and mental resilience. A former competitive runner, Tammie combines firsthand racing and coaching experience with evidence-based performance psychology to help athletes perform at their best when it matters most. Her work focuses on overcoming self-doubt, managing pressure, and building sustainable motivation.

Robby Andrews and Big Bob

Robby Andrews, Olympian, World Finalist, NCAA Champion, HS Record Holder, NJ MOC Winner, son of Big Bob. The list could go on and on but you get the picture. Robby is a multiple time speaker at Radix! As his story evolves so does his message. Every year, one of the best parts of Robby's talk is when he brings his training logs and shares everything that has made him the athlete is today.

Daniella Aragon 

Dani Aragon is a member of the Empire Elite Track Club. She competed for Notre Dame in college where she was a 4x All- American. She has PRs of 4:04 for the 1500 and 2:00.30 for the 800. Dani gave her first talk at camp in 2018 and we hope she comes back for many years to come. The story of her rise through the sport is amazing for athletes of all ages!

Coach Tom Heath

Coach Tom Heath coached at Christian Brothers Academy for over 40 years. Over his tenure as coach, he coached the 2011 National Championship XC team, 5 top five teams in the country, 3 Penn Relays DMR winners, over 30 track all-Americans, the national record in dual meet wins, and 23 MOC titles. Coach Heath is a hurricane of force during his talks. There is no one that can motive and build team culture quite like Coach Heath and it is an honor to hear him speak at camp.

Tim Rossi

Tim is member/founder of the Lost Boys Track Club, and long time supporter of Radix Running. His enthusiasm for the sport is hard to match. While a New Yorker at heart, he works for Nike, building up the running community. He always come through with swag for the campers and an infectious positive attitude!

Luke McCambley

Luke (AKA The Orange Runner) is an artist and athlete based in NY. He visited camp to share his story rooted in his passion for creating cartoons about sport he holds dear. We were very fortunate to have Luke draw portraits of our campers, and look forward to having him back in the future.
